When I was given the opportunity to choose an outfit from Simply Be, I knew that I was looking for one that would bring me into Autumn in celebration. I wanted bright colours to make up for the lack of sun and pretty patterns to keep me cheerful, and when I saw this fruity number, I knew it would be the one.

The Voodoo Vixen Keira Dress is a bright, floral and fruit design, featuring apples and strawberries. The colours are mainly green and red, with hints of yellow. It has a collard, V neckline with red buttons trailing down the bust. It is made from cotton, has a discrete zip concealed on the side and comes with a red material belt that emphases the nip in at the waist.

Voodoo Vixen sizing can sometimes be a little confusing, with a 1XL being a 16 - 18, it can leave you a little unsure over where to place yourself. Usually wearing a size 18, I trusted the brand size guide and was pleased with the fact it ran true to size. There is some stretch in the fabric meaning it was also very comfortable, and though there is a zip on the side I found I didn't event need to use it. The skirt is flared and looks great with or without a petticoat. Its length is 431/2 inches and I am 5'8 meaning it falls just below my knees. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I feel more comfortable when my dresses end just below my knee as I feel it compliments my curvy figure.
I paired this beautiful fruity dress with the Voodoo Vixen Fruit Print Cardigan also from Simply Be. It is a vibrant red viscose and nylon mix with embroidered strawberries and butterflies on the front and strawberries and daisies on the back shoulders. The fit was true to size, and as with the dress I also went for the 1XL. It felt soft, comfortable and suited the shape of the dress perfectly.
