I am whole heartedly in love with Gorilla Perfumes fragrances, and a good facial scrub is also a must have in my cosmetic collection. So as you can imagine, when I heard there would be three products released by Lush as part of their Fathers Day Range sharing the Smugglers Soul scent, I was ecstatic.  Then I found out one would be a facial scrub, and this left me floating on cloud 9. Ever since, I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this smoky, Sandalwood treat, and now it is in my possession I can confirm it has not left me disappointed.

Smuggler's Soul Facial Scrub is a fine facial scrub, designed to brighten and exfoliate the skin. In appearance it is a creamy white consistency with fine grains of Bamboo granules.

Along with the Solid Shampoo Bar and the Multi-purpose Cream, this limited edition facial scrub shares the Smuggler's Soul fragrance. It is made from a blend of repairing Argan Oil, vitamin rich Organic Rose Hip Oil, moisturising Extra Virgin Olive Oil and uplifting Lemongrass Oil. Though still beautiful, the scent is more subtle than the perfume and has a smoother, creamier smell to it.

Facial scrubs are easy to use, simply take a small scoop and rub in circular motions onto the face. The Bamboo Stem Extract exfoliates and brightens the skin, this gentle ingredient is light enough not to irritate sensitive skin but also affective enough to leave your skin feeling soft. Finally, rinse with warm water, allowing the heat to open up and clear out the pours.
Though fine, the scrub still offered a nice exfoliating treatment, I was impressed upon using it by how soothing it felt while applying. My skin was left feeling cleansed and moisturised, while my mind felt refreshed and comforted. Though sublet in the pot, I felt the fragrance emanated when applied and lingered on the skin afterwards.

This facial scrub is so beautiful, I am so glad I finally got to try it and I plan on stocking up before they disappear from our stores. I have so many favourites from the Lush Fathers Day Range, and for their first, they really out done themselves.
