With my blog reaching its first year, I am feeling rather nostalgic. As I have mentioned before, my blog was set up to keep me positive during a possibly difficult time, and now I can't help but smile as I think back on all the lovely things I have done this year, and all the amazing people I have met. In the spirit of this, to celebrate my first ever Bloggerversary, I took a day out, to do lots of nice things. So why not take a look at what I got up to and don't forget to enter my Give-A-Way at the end. But first (in a sing song voice) Here are a few of my favourite things!

To start with I took my favourite people with me and visited my favourite dress shop in Northampton. Bohemian Finds is a charming little shop based in Market Walk, in Northampton Town Centre. They stock a beautiful array of vintage inspired clothing and accessories. As I have mentioned when I blogged about Bohemian Finds in my previous post, I not only love the stunning selection of dresses, but I adore that I am always made to feel welcome and can spend hours chatting and trying on clothes.
If you have read my blog before, you may have already guessed that one of my favourite things is Lush! So it made perfect sense to head down to my local store, where it all started. Lush has been very important to me, the products and people have helped me through my pregnancy, physically and mentally. I have had the chance to make lots of lovely Lush trips and they have featured regularly in my blog. Lush have been so supportive over the year and I couldn't of asked for a better way to celebrate, than spending time with some of the beautiful new friends I have made, as well as getting to see all the new Mother Day Range, as well as some old favourites.

Last but not least, we headed to the charming little fairytale themed dessert parlour, The Magic Bean Emporium. All birthdays should be celebrated with sweet treats and why not do it in style. This Emporium was established by childrens novelist Michella Dos Santos in 2014, and offers a delicious variety of confectionaries as well as magical story-telling sessions. Having this chance to step out of the real world and into a corner of wonder is just what was needed for this celebration. We enjoyed our milkshakes and ice creams as we laughed over funny made up stores by one of my favourite people, my Son.

Thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate my first blog anniversary and for all my presents and messages. I had a wonderful weekend doing My Favourite Things, and I will continue my blog spreading happy thoughts and kindness.
