An Interview With Jon From Gorilla Perfumes Islington

Since opening on the ninetieth of July 2014, Gorilla Perfumes has grown and become a favourite shop among many. Situated in a quaint little street of Camden Passage, Islington, the Gorilla Perfumes store is the only store dedicated solely to Lush perfumes. This whimsical place already holds such happiness for me. I love a chance to step out of the bustle and immerse myself in nothing but my love of perfume. These perfumes hold such meaning to me and have helped me a lot through the last year, so I was so delighted when Jon, the manager of the store, agreed to let me interview him and find out all I could.

Chocolate And Perfume Pairing With Gorilla Perfume!

One of my favourite stores ever, has paired up with Edingburge chocolatiers Edward and Irwin, and have been hosting a stall at this years Islington Chocolate Festival. Six chocolates have been created exclusively for Gorilla Perfumes and are being used in the multi-sensory experience of chocolate and perfume pairing. These have been dreamed up using such ingredients to either taste like or complement six of the Gorilla Perfumes fragrances.

Gorilla Perfumes Scented Cinema - Lush Review

Me and my Husband have just come back from a fantastic weekend in London, another mini holiday I may have hijacked for Lush. We had a whole day of beautiful scented activities, that pleased all of our senses. We started our day by visiting the Gorilla Perfumes store at The chocolate festival (which I will be posting another blog about) as well as getting to interview the gorgeous Jon who is the manager of the store. Finally, we stopped by Lush Oxford Street for a shop and ended our scented day at the scented cinema. So as you can imagine, I have so much to tell you! But where to begin! Lets start with the reason I planned this little get away. The Gorilla Perfume Scented Cinema!

The Jump Joint - Gin Fizz Review

I was so excited to be asked along to blog the Gin Fizz Event taking place on the 28th November. I haven't had a night out since having my little one, I love a good rhythm and blues band with a gorgeous double bass, and I do not have to be asked twice to find a reason to dress up. So this came at a perfect time, as I was well in need of letting down my hair and kicking off my shoes (metaphorically speaking of course).
