My Lush Poole Adventures!

I am going to make the biggest understatement by saying that I love Lush. I love the products, the stores, the staff and all the little details that link it all together. My Little Lush Land adventure was not only a Lushies dream come true, but if possible it made me fall in love with Lush even more.

Lush Poole was the first ever Lush Store, it was opened it 1995 with the top floor acting as the Lush Lab and the bottom the Shop floor. So as you can imagine it plays an important part in the Lush history and I couldn't wait to visit. Walking into this quaint little store was like popping to a friends for tea. It beckons you in with a warm embracing aroma and you are welcomed with a friendly smile.

One thing I love about Lush is how they accept people for who they are. I have had so many things in life where I have been made to feel like I have to be two people, but with Lush I can be a Mum, a Women and a Blogger and I am not judged.

Before I had even entered the store, my son had already made himself at home. I found him sitting at a bowl testing a new bath bomb, he had declared a pretty Employee his girlfriend and seeing how great the staff were with him already set me at ease for my visit.

The store was not large but very well laid out and cosy. It was stocked with the new winter range as well as some oxford street exclusives that are not yet available in my local store and connected next door is the wholesome looking Spa. Another thing that prompted my visit to Poole was the exclusive perfume 29 high street, a perfume designed to smell like a Lush store, and is only available at 29 street Lush Poole. I picked up some treats and left feeling excited for my treatment and meet ups the next day.

The next day I dropped my Mum off for her treatment (The Good Hour), My son, as if he was already use to the place, went to make friends with the staff and play with the new Christmas Fun, while I excitedly waited to meet the beautiful Krystal and Maisa from Customer Care. I had no idea what we were doing, all they had told me was that they had a surprise for me!

Upon meeting them it was clear to see why Lush is such a warm hearted place. It is the faces we see that influence how we feel about a company and I instantly felt like I belonged in such a positive, thoughtful and life loving setting.

I spy Matt from Customer Care through this window!
I was taken around and introduced to the staff. It was pointed out within which rooms different things happened, and I was delighted to be shown where Jacks Lab was. I was so touched to see the care that had been given in planing a tour of Lush HQ for me. Everyone was beyond lovely and it was easy to see how much they also loved Lush. It was interesting to see the Lush team in their working environment and to see some still get excited at seeing Mark and other creators around the building.

I was presented with gifts that were so perfect that you would assume they had known me for years and I even welled up a bit to see 'Lush Welcomes Vicky' on the office notice board. Sometimes I think I get hurt a lot in life because I care too much or maybe I'm a little old fashioned in manners and showing I care, But Lush get it! They know how to make people feel special and they know that personal touches are how you tell someone you care.

Before I left (which by this point I really didn't want to) I was taken to 'The Welcome cart' and met the fabulous Victoria, we talked over our favourite products and I was also absolutely spoiled there. Krystal and Maisa lead me around lots of Lush buildings and even showed me the Lush Hair Lab before returning me safely to the Lush Poole Store. We had a little shop around, and lots of laughs before my treatment. I had such a beautiful time with them and can not thank them for such an amazing day.

Finally my day ended with the most magical treatment I have ever had, The Comforter?! This is a full body massage and exfoliation treatment, but if you would like to see a full review of this you will have to come back next time!
Thank you for reading my post, I can not recommend a trip to Lush Poole highly enough. I just want to say thank you to everyone I met, I was so spoiled and could never thank you enough for your kindness. Also a thank you to Lush Bournemouth, who were also so welcoming when I popped into visit! I really hope I get to see you all again!
