One of the things I really value in a company is good customer care. I would count this as providing what I have paid for, offering advice when possible and being polite. It doesn't really take a lot to make me happy. Yet sometimes I find myself not shopping in stores just because I feel uncomfortable with people, (Yay the joy of an anxiety disorder). However when it comes to Lush, I have never been made to feel awkward and, as my son often comments, I feel like I'm a part of their very happy family.

Upon arriving we were welcomed and introduced to the wonderful activities the staff had planned for us. There were tables layed out with beautiful lush product inspired food and drinks. Sadly I missed getting to try these but they did look delicious.
After briefly having a peruse over some lovely lush products and being shown the limited edition Dirty Deal Showder by the fabulous Bea, I made my way to make my own Bath Bomb!!!
From the moment l fell in love with Lush, I have wanted to make my own Bath Bomb. So when Lush Northampton had a station set to make the Big Blue, I knew this was going to be a fabulous party. As Will talked me through the ingredients, and how to put the product together, I was set in a celebrative mood as I moved on to the next activity.
Next I made sure to get in line for a mini treatment with the lovely Maddie. Offering mini facials, hand treatments and foot treatments, it was hard to choose, but knowing there was still more to do and see I went for a hand treatment. Being a mum and working with paper my hands are always in need of a lot of care. Maddie scrubbed them with the gorgeous Salted Coconut and massaged them with Love and Light, leaving them feeling smooth and relaxed.
Lastly I thought I would take my chances at some party games, I tried to guess the amount of tubs in a jar and failed miserably. So I moved on to the Emotional Brilliance wheel to try my luck again.
Though I have a few items or Lush Makeup, I had never tried the Emotional Brilliance Wheel before. The beautiful Sarah talked me through it, setting the scene magically. I was asked to close my eyes while the wheel was spun and upon opening then to choose the first three colours that stood out to me. The first chosen colour represents your strength or weakness, the second your subconscious and the third being your aspiration. I chose Motivation, Happiness and Fantasy, you can make of that reading what you will. This was not only fun and pretty but also a great way to make you think of yourself and your needs.
To make this experience even better, the colours where then turned over and if they had stars on the bottom you won a prize, I was so excited that I won two! Dipping my hands into Wills Goodie Box I picked out Ice blue soap and Dads Garden Lemon Tree!
As the saying goes, 'Time flies when your having fun' I quickly got in a lush selfie, caught up with some of the wonderful staff I had missed and before I was ready (though I would never be ready) the party was over. It was such a well planned party, where everything had been thought about it detail.
