Lush Milton Keynes Blogger Event!

I was so excited to be invited to my first Lush Blogger Event. After recently having my baby it was perfect timing to get out and be in one of my favourite places. I had also never been to Lush Milton Keynes, so it was lovely to get a chance to meet the staff and see what Oxford Street Exclusives they had received, that my local store had not.

Upon arriving we were invited into the store and introduced to each other in the form of a giant Jelly throw game. Who ever caught the (new refresher I believe) Jelly, would state their name and their blog. We were then split into groups of three: skin, hand and foot care, Shower Products and Bathing.

Starting off in Skin, Hand and Foot care we were shown the various products. They were explained, demonstrated and then we were given a chance to test them out ourselves. I was very excited to get to sample:

  • Cup O Coffee Face Mask
  • Magical Moringa Facial Moisturiser
  • Elbow Grease
  • Salted Coconut Hand Scrub
  • Love and Light Hand Cream
  • Golden Handshake Hand Mask
  • Pumice Power
  • Foot Soak and Fancy Free Foot Soak
  • Softy Foot Lotion
  • Go Faster Feet Foot Lotion
  • Twinkle Toes Foot Powder
In the Shower section we started with a game. We were blind folded and left to our sense of smell to identify the Shower Jelly. I really enjoyed this game, as I find lush fragrances and their ingredients so interesting. The new Shower Jellies now available at lush Milton Keynes are:
  • Refresher Shower Jelly
  • Needles and Pines Shower Jelly
  • 93,000 Miles
We we're then introduced to the new Soaps, they were explained with names, scents and ingredients. We passed them around sharing favourites and what they reminded us of. The new Soaps at Lush Milton Keynes are:

  • Maypole
  • Out back Mate
  • Layer Cake
  • Serendipity
  • Apandapand
  • Respect Your Elders

Next we were shown the new roulades. They are not completely new products but reformulated and no longer comes in plastic pots. I got to try the new turkish delight and found the smell to be much fresher and fruiter than when I had smelled the old version. New roulades available at Lush Milton Keynes:

  • Turkish Delight Roulade
  • Dreamwash Roulade

We were then treated to a body scrub. I am a big fan of scrubs and use them regularly, so I was very interested to test these out. I loved the fact the one was fragranced with the Lord of Misrule scent and another was the already well loved Rub Rub Rub In solid form. Body Scrubs available at Lush Milton Keynes:

  • Life's a Beach Body Scrub Powder (new showder Product)
  • Rub Rub Rub Solid Body Scrub
  • The Rough With The Smooth

One of my most anticipated releases was the Shower Gels and Creams. The fragrances are stunning and each so unique.

  • Don't Rain On My Parade (Fragranced with Gorilla Perfumes Tuca Tuca)
  • Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair (Sharing the same scent as Gorilla Perfumes Cocktail)
  • Beautiful Shower Gel
  • The Comforter Shower Cream
  • Yuzu and Cocoa Shower Cream
Finally we ended at the Bathing Products. Though I have already used a lot of these or seen them demonstrated, I don't think I could ever get bored of seeing or talking about them more.

We were shown the new products, and given a demo of the Intergalactic Bath Bomb and Milky Bath Bubble Bar. We also got to see some of the reworked Bubble Bars. Bathing Products now available from Lush Milton Keynes:

  • Intergalactic Bath Bomb
  • Experimenter Bath Bomb
  • Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb
  • Frozen Bath Bomb
  • Granny Takes a Dip Bubble Bar
  • Milky Bath Bubble Bar
  • Pink Flamingo Reusable Bubble Bar

I had such a lovely time, the people were friendly (and eased my nerves) the products were stunning and I even got given a goody bag to take home! Thank you so much to Lush Milton Keynes for having me. Wonderful, friendly staff with great knowledge of their products. It was such a pleasure to meet you all.

Thank you for reading my post. Do feel free to watch my Vlog of the event at the top of my page, and please subscribe to my Youtube Channel for more videos!
