I am at the 9 weeks countdown until I have my second son and again I am wondering will my style change after pregnancy? Do you go back to being and dressing as you did before or is everything changed?
After my first son, it took me a long time to feel myself, and even then I felt like I was lots of people at the same time. I started modelling again and I started to enjoy clothes again but my size had changed and I had to learn all over again what would work for me.
At a size 18 I got the Red Greta Leopard Collar Dress and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt in it! I have always loved wiggle dresses but wondered if with being a plus size lady, who still had some of her baby belly left, could I get away with wearing it? Well though I am sure many will differ in opinion, I found the Greta Dress to be very flattering for the curvier shape.
This 1950s style dress is made from Stretch Bengaline which beautifully hugs the figure. It features a plunging neckline and gathers under the bust to emphasise the waist. It is embellished with a faux fur collar and cuffs. It is hand finished and made in Britain. It is also available in black and navy.
The material is a lovely quality and though it is hugging it does not cling too tightly. This dress must be worn with a smile and with confidence. It will show off all your curves, so if you like them or not, they will show when you sit down. It is not a dress to hide in, So be happy, fun and proud when you wear it.
I love this dress, The colour is vibrant, the material is comfortable and still nips in all the right places. The Leopard print is stylish and elegant without being over powering and the length is perfect for my height of 5'8, finishing just below my knees. This dress could suit a variety of different shapes and sizes and would be perfect and powerful for many formal and social situations.
I would definitely recommend this dress, and suggest you check out Dollydagger, they are a British retro boutique that have been around since 2005. They sell beautiful vintage clothes and accessories in their boutique located in Brighton, as well as online. I have already made a mental list of what else I would add to my wish list.
