I love Bath Bombs that tell stories. When every little detail has been thought about; the name, what it represents and what it does. This is why I was so excited to try The Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb. This rather special Bath bomb has it all.

Inspired by the Phoenix this Bath Bomb is brilliantly colourful and beautiful. It is a dark purple with small sprinkles of gold dust topped with cinnamon sticks. This item really stands out. If the appearance alone isn't enough to make this product fly off the shelves, you only have to smell it to be persuaded.

Another reason this Bath Bomb appealed to me was for its spicy cinnamon fragrance, being one of my favourite scents I was so pleased to find a product that used it. Cinnamon has many great health benefits such as; boosting the activity of the brain, blood purification and circulation, and easing pain in the joins and muscles. It can also aid in the treatment of diabetes, infections, heart disease and more. This Bath Bomb is also made up from a blend of uplifting Bergamot Oil, Nourishing Fair Trade Shea Butter, strengthening Cassia Oil and moisturising Organic Jojoba Oil. There is no need to wonder why they have named this product after a mystical creature known for long life and regeneration.

When this mystical bird plunges into the bath, like a burnt out shooting star meeting its end, you wonder if this is the sad ending to such a spectacular creature. However moments later, in the way that Phoenixes do, out of the sadness something beautiful happens, and its a perfect expression of what this Bath Bomb has to offer.

After settling at the bottom of your tub the Bath Bomb begins to fizz, fast and frantic, fighting to carry on. It thrashes its way up and down your bath spitting out cinnamon sticks and a vivid purple with spots of green. Then finally it rises and floats on top of the water. The smell engulfs the room impressed upon you to stay and let it heal you too.

The Phoenix is also associate with Phoenicia an ancient Kingdom famous for producing purple dye. This could also be inspiration for this Bath Bombs colouring. The water is turned a stunning shade of purple and the Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil leaves it soft to the touch.
