Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb - Lush Review

I am a lady who does enjoy pretty things! I love to take some time and remind myself that I deserve to feel special and I highly encourage others to do so too! So as you can imagine I was delighted to receive my first ever Lush products this christmas. I have never tried them before and as much as I love a bubblebath I never dreamed how extra special a Lush bath bomb could make the experience.

So this review is for my first Lush love ' Shoot for the stars'. This beautiful piece of night sky is as magical as the name suggests. In appearance this bath bomb is a wonder, its beautiful dark blue colouring with sprinkles of pixie dust pink and a bright shooting star motif is just an aspect of what makes this bath bomb summon up the dreamy ideas of looking at a romantic starlit sky.

Once dropped into water you will be treated to a stunning display, like looking to the sky for a fireworks show it will rekindle your childlike excitement to see what comes next. The colours foam and surround the ball like it is gathering up energy before shooting off into space. This bath bomb is not a fast fizzer, it takes its time to tell a story of its adventures, showing off each layer. The water starts to turn blue and the bath bomb starts to slowly spin and rocket off, trailing behind it colours like a shooting stars tail. Blue, Purple, Pink, Yellow and Silver swirl out leaving behind a trail of little shimmers and little silver stars.

If this doesn't tempt your senses then let me tell you about the smell! It is fragranced with the same perfume you would smell in the 'Honey I Washed The Kids' soap, for those of you who are new to lush like me, this is a beautiful sweet honey-toffee scent that stays with you from the moment you hold the bath bomb in your hand and lingers on your skin after you have touched back down to earth.

But shooting stars don't happen all the time, they are very special moments, ones to be treasured and anticipated. This one is only available at Lush with their christmas range. So though I am sad I can not get this again until next christmas (hopefully) I was totally enchanted with this bath bomb, It was a beautiful relaxing moment, I was really taken out of this world and it gave me time to leave my worries behind.

I look forward to trying lots more Lush creations and hope you will enjoy yours as much as I have! If you have any favourite Lush Products I'd love to hear about them. If you are yet to try any why not visit your local lush shop, which I have found are full with very friendly helpful staff.  If you can't wait that long you could shop from home here:
